Makeup Revolution skincare, hydration boost review - revue de la crème hydratante 'hydration boost' de chez makeup revolution skincare

A few weeks ago I was getting low on my Sephora moisturizer (which was my holy grail) and as I'm now in the UK I can't get that one anymore. As I'd heard so many great reviews about the Makeup Revolution Hydration Boost moisturizing cream I decided to order it because I was ordering some makeup at the same time. It only cost £8 which is cheaper than the Sephora one! I find that just looking at the packaging, you couldn't tell it's from revolution skincare - it looks more expensive than just £8 in my opinion!

Il y a quelques semaine je commençais à être a court de ma crème hydratante  Sephora (qui était mon produit préféré de tous les temps) et maintenant que je suis en Angleterre je ne peux plus l'acheter. Puisque j'avais entendu tellement de bons retours au sujet de la crème hydratante Makeup Revolution Hydration Boost j'ai décidé de me la commander puisque je commandais du maquillage en même temps. Elle m'a seulement coûté £8 ce qui est moins cher que celle de chez Sephora! Je trouve que juste en regardant le packagind, on ne dirait pas qu'elle vient de chez Makeup Revolution - je trouve qu'elle a l'air plus chère que £8!

 I had very high expectations about this product because everyone was raving about their products and saying how incredible they are and that 'it's the best skincare products they've every used', etc.. which made me even more excited to try it out for myself! This is what the product itself looks like - it is unscented and non-greasy!! I was mindblown when I applied it to my skin!! It left my skin feeling so soft and hydrated for the whole day it was amazing. The Sephora one was very good but by the end of the day my skin started to feel tight because of it being dry - but this doesn't happen with this one!!! Also I never realised how much better having scented products are - the Sephora one smelled very nice but now I have used this one, I can't stand the smell of it.

J'avais de très hautes attentes au sujet de ce produit parce que tout le monde puisque je voyais toujours tout le monde en parler en positif et dire que c'est 'la meilleure crème hydratante qu'ils n'ont jamais utilisé' ce qui m'a encore plus rendue impatiente a l'idée de la tester de moi même! Voici a quoi ressemble le produit - il n'a pas de parfum particulière et elle n'est pas grasse du tout!! J'étais époustouflée quand je l'ai appliquée sur ma peau pour la première fois!! Ma peau était super douce et et hydratée pendant la journée entière c'était incroyable. Celle de chez Sephora était très très bien mais à la fin de la journée ma peau me tiraillait car elle était sèche - mais ça n'arrive pas avec celle ci!!! Je n'avais jamais réalisé à quel point appliquer des produits qui ne contiennent pas de parfum était beaucoup plus agréable - celle de chez Sephora sentait très bon mais maintenant que j'ai utilisé celle ci - je ne supporte plus son odeur.

I'd honestly say it's worth the money (even if it's not expensive at all), I had very high expectations but I was still mindlown when I tried it!! I will be recommending this moisturizer to anyone who mentions skincare products to me! I couldn't go back to using another moisturizer this products is life-changing. I definitely will be buying this moisturizer over and over again as soon as I run out because it's the best one ever! This is my new holy grail.

Franchement, il n'y a pas de doute sur le fait qu'elle vaut son prix (même si elle n'est pas chère du tout), j'avais de très hautes attendes mais j'étais quand même époustouflée quand je l'ai essayée!! Je vais la recommander à toutes les personnes qui me demandent mon avis a propos de soins pour la peau! Je ne pourrai pas utiliser une autre crème hydratante après avoir utilisée celle-ci car elle m'a changé la vie. Je vais pour sur la racheter encore et encore dès que je la fini parce que c'est la meilleure crème hydratante selon moi! 

How I've been organising my life since I started College - Comment j'organise ma vie depuis que j'ai commencé mes études supérieures

I enrolled at Hastings’ Sussex Coast College to study business at the end of September and I thought I’d share with you my ‘tips’ to stay organised. This is what I’m doing now, hopefully I’ll stick to this all year long haha ! Before I say anything, I have a tip : I already have all the dates on which my assignments are due (and have many dates I need to remember already), and I found that buying a calender / weekly calender was the best decision I took because it helps me a lot to visualise when my assignments are due ect so I'd recommend you buy a calender because it helps a lot if you don't already have one

J'ai commencé les cours au Sussex Coast College a Hastings en Angleterre pour entreprendre des études de business et je me suis dis que je vous partagerai mes 'conseils' sur comment je reste organisée. Ceci est ce que je fait maintenant, en espérant que je suivrai mes propres conseils toute l'année! Avant de dire quoi que ce soit j'ai un conseil : j'ai déjà toutes les dates auquels mes devoirs doivent être rendu (et j'ai beaucoup d'autres dates a retenir aussi), et je me suis vite rendu compte qu'avoir acheté un calendrier mensuel et hebdomadaire fut la meilleure décision que j'ai prise car ça m'aide beaucoup à visualiser le temps qu'il me reste pou faire mes devoirs etc donc je vous recommence d'acheter un calendrier parce que ça aide beaucoup si vous en avez pas déjà un

I only have 2 days of lessons a week on monday and tuesday, and at the moment I haven’t got a job neither have I started driving lessons because I’m waiting to get my National Insurance Number (which is a lot more complicated than I thought it would be to be honest.) This means I’m free the rest of the week until I get my life sorted lol. I already have a few assignments due - but I still really want to post blog posts on here so I HAVE to stay organised.

When I go to school, I take my laptop alongside pens and notebooks to school so that I can have the powerpoint slides in front of me and I take notes on paper so I can take time at home to type my lessons out neatly and print eveerything out the way I want it to be which is working quite well at the moment for me. 

I’ve made a few friends and we’ve been coming to the College to study (which half the time results in us chatting most the time haha). I’ve also been going out with those friends quite a lot lately which has been fun but having friends is expensive! I’m enjoying having some free time away from school during most of the week but I’m looking forward to getting a job and learning to drive!!

J'ai seulement 2 jours de cours par semaine le lundi et le mardi, et pour le moment je n'ai pas de travail et j'ai pas commencé les leçons de conduite car j'attend pour avoir mon numéro d'assurance anglais (qui se prouve être assez compliqué). Ceci veut donc dire que je ne fait rien d'autre le reste de la semaine jusqu'à ce que je puisse commencer à travailler. J'ai déjà quelques devoirs que je dois rendre - mais je veux toujours continuer a publier des articles de blog donc je DOIS rester organisée. 

Quand je vais à l'école, je prends mon ordinateur ainsi que des carnets et des stylos car je trouve ça plus pratique de voir le diapo devant moi quand je prends des notes et je prends des notes à la main pour pouvoir prendre le temps de bien taper mes cours au propre à l'ordinateur et les organiser comme je veux, et pour le moment cette façon de faire marche très bien pour moi. 

Je me suis fait quelques amies et on va au College travailler (pas très productif parce que la moitié du temps on est plus occupées à parler que travailler haha). On sort aussi pas mal avec ces amies en dehors des cours ce qui est super cool mais avoir des amis ça coûte cher! Je profite du temps libre en dehors des cours pendant que j'en ai mais j'ai assez hâte de chercher un boulot et commencer la conduite franchement!!

Sleek Pigment tranformer review (Inglot dupe) - revue du transformateur de pigments de chez Sleek (dupe de Inglot)

Yesterday I ended up going down the town with my new friend from College and ended up going makeup shopping.... this sounded like terrible news for my purse (I know you're reading this mum - I didn't spend that much). I bought a few things and one of the things I bought was this pigment transformer from Sleek which I was very interested in because I keep hearing people mention the Inglot pigment transformer and I've always wanted to try it but never bought it because you can only get it on Beautybay. Long story short : this one was cheaper and you get a bit more product in it than the Inglot one (1ml more) so I thought I would give it a go!

Hier je suis allée en ville avec une nouvelle amie que je me suis faite au College et on s'est retrouvés a acheter du maquillage car elle voulait en acheter....... ça sentait mauvais pour mon porte monnaie ça (maman je sais que tu lis ça - j'ai pas dépensé tant que ça). J'ai acheté quelques articles et une des choses que j'ai acheté est ce transformateur de pigment de chez Sleek qui m'interessait beaucoup puisque j'entendais souvent des gens parler du transformateur de pigment de chez Inglot que j'ai toujours voulu essayer mais je ne l'ai jamais acheté puisqu'il est seulement disponible sur Beautybay. En bref : celui-ci est moins cher et on gagne un tout petit peu de produit car il a 1ml de plus que celui d'Inglot donc je me suis dis que j'allais l'essayer!

I love the fact that there is some kind of pump on the lid so you can actually use 1 or 2 drops of products because I have a liquid highlighter with the same kind of pump lid but it doesn't work you can't get drops out of the glass bit so it's a bit messy, but this one works fine which I'm very happy about because that would have killed it otherwise to be honest. 

J'adore le fait qu'il y a une sorte de pompe sur le haut du bouchon pour pouvoir seulement utiliser 1 ou 2 gouttes de produits car j'ai un highlighter liquide avec le même style de pompe mais elle ne marche pas alors on ne peut pas faire sortir de gouttes du produits alors quand on essaye d'en appliquer on se retrouve avec du produit partout ce qui est un peu dommage, mais celle-ci marche niquel ce qui me ravit car sinon ça aurait tout gaché je pense.

The product is actually liquid and it doesn't dry before you've even got the product out of the glass which makes it really easier to mix it up with your pigment or whatever you want to transform and also VERY easy to apply!

Le produit est très liquide et ne sèche pas avant même qu'il soit sorti de la bouteille ce qui fait qu'il est très facile a mélanger avec les pigment ou ce que vous voulez transformer et il est également TRES facile appliquer!

This is the makeup I was wearing today because I really wanted to try it out and as you can see it works very well! I'm getting better at applying eyeliner (I think?!) and this product doesn't make it hard to apply, it's really smooth. 

Voici le maquillage que je portais aujourd'hui car je voulais absolument l'essayer et comme vous pouvez voir, le transformateur marche très bien!! Je m'améliore en application d'eye-liner (je crois?!) et ce produit ne rend pas l'application difficile, au contraire ça glisse tout seul.

I used the 'Daddy' eyeshadow from my MorphexJamesCharles palette (which I reviewed - click here to read my review). I scraped a bit of the pigment off and mix it with 2 drops of the pigment transformer and mixed them together (depending on the pigmentation of your pigment you may need more or less pigment - it also depends how intense you want your liner to be!

J'ai utilisé la teinte 'Daddy' de ma palette MorphexJamesCharles (dont j'ai fait une revue - cliquez ici si vous voulez lire ma revue). J'ai gratté un peu de pigment et j'ai ajouté du transformateur puis j'ai melangé les deux ensemble (en fonction de la pigmentation de votre pigment vous aurez besoin de plus ou moins de pigment - cela dépend aussi quel intensité vous voulez donner à votre liner!

My first impressions and a review of the Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Allure palette (Huda Beauty dupe!) - Mes premières impressions et une revue de la palette Foreveer Flawless Allure de chez Makeup Revolution (dupe Huda Beauty!)

Makeup Revolution (one of my favourite brands ever!!!!) had a special offer on over the weekend and I've had my eyes on some palettes for a while but never bought them so while their offer was on - I bought them! The first one I got is this one - the Forever Flawless Allure palette. Already from the outside I loved this palette, I found the packaging absolutely stunning, it's beautiful!! 

Makeup Revolution (une de mes marques préférés!!!!) avaient une promotion pendant le weekend et j'avais vu quelques palettes qui m’intéressaient beaucoup depuis un moment mais je ne les avait jamais acheté alors pendant que l'offre était valide - j'en ai profité! La première palette que j'ai acheté est celle-ci -la Forever Flawless Allure palette. Rien que de l'extérieur j'adore cette palette, je trouve que le packaging est magnifique, elle est sublime!!!

It's even better from the inside!! In my opinion it's a very good dupe of the Huda beauty 'the new nude' palette which is an excellent thing because this palette is only £10 while the Huda beauty one is £56. I have never been disapointed by any Makeup Revolution products, they are VERY affordable and the quality is amazing!! These eye-shadows blend so easily you don't even have to try hard and the colour pay off is really really good even for the shimmer shades which sometimes isn't the case in certain palettes. I payed this palette £8,5 thanks to the offer and I don't regret a penny of it. I'd really really recommend this palette especially if you're only starting wearing makeup because these are all very easy colours to wear as most of them are nude shades! 

Elle est encore plus belle de l'intérieur!!! Je trouve que cette palette est un très bon dupe de la palette Huda Beauty 'the new nude' ce qui est une très bonne chose car cette palette coute 11,99€ alors que la palette Huda Beauty coûte 65€. Je n'ai jamais été déçue par une palette Makeup Revolution, ils sont TRES abordable et la qualité est incroyable!! Ces fards a paupière s'estompent tellement facilement, sans même essayer ils s'estompent et l'intensité des fards est très très bonne même pour les fards irisé ce qui n'est pas forcément le cas dans d'autres palettes. J'ai payé cette palette £8,5 grâce à leur offre et je ne regrette pas un centime. Je recommande vraiment beaucoup cette palette surtout si vous commencez le maquillage parce que ces teintes sont très facile a porter puisque la plupart sont des couleurs nude! 

Here's the makeup look I wore to test this palette out (and I swatched all of them). I used the shade sweethearts, suave and sinner (+ my Colourpop highlighter and a kiko mascara) to create this look. I'd like to say I did use an eyeshadow base before applying any eye-makeup!

Voici le look que j'ai créé pour tester cette palette (et j'ai swatché tous les fads). J'ai utilisé les fards sweetheart, suave et sinner (+ mon highlighter Colourpop et un mascara kiko) pour créer ce look. J'aimerai ajouter que j'ai utilisé une base a paupière avant d'appliquer mon maquillage des yeux!

Purple eye makeup look (Morphe/Huda Beauty/Benefit/NYX cosmetics/Becca) - maquillage des yeux violet (Morphe/Huda beauty/NYX cosmetics/Benefit/Becca)

The other day I was applying my makeup and it all weent out of hands.... I only wanted to wear a light makeup look and it turned out into a full on look... which I loved so I thought I'd share it with you and explain how I got there!

L'autre jour je me maquillais et j'ai un peu perdu controle.... Je voulais seulement porter un maquillage léger mais au final c'était tout le contraire mais j'aimais beaucoup alors je me suis dis que je partagerai ça avec vous et que j'expliquerai comment j'y suis arrivé!

Before I start, here's what my makeup looked like at the end, a purple look with a purple liner!

Avant de commencer, voici comment était mon maquillage à la fin, un look violet avec un liner violet!

Here are the products I used : The Benefit stay don't stray eyeshadow base, the MorphexJamesCharles palette, the NYX cosmetics Ultimate Bright palette, Huda beauty Amethyst Obesessions palette, the NYX cosmetics worth the hype mascara, the NYX liquid lipstick in the shade 'run the world' and the Becca highlighter in the shade 'moonstone'

Voici les produits que j'ai utilisé : la base a paupière Benefit stay don't stray, la palette MorphexJamesCharles, la palette Ultimate bright de chez NYX, la palette Amethyst Obesssions de chez Huda Beauty, le mascara worth the hype de chez NYX, le rouge à lèvres liquide de chez NYX dans la teinte 'diriger le monde' et l'highlighter Becca dans la teinte 'moonstone'

First step was to prime my eyelids with the Benefit Eyeshadow base (I never used to do this but I bought the eyeshadow base and I haven't stopped using it since it works so well!)

La première étape était d'appliquer ma base a paupière Benefit (j'en utilisait jamais avant mais j'ai acheté la base et depuis il n'y a pas un jour où je ne l'ai pas utilisé, elle marche vraiment très bien!)

I started by applying the light purple shade from the NYX Ultimate Bright palette all over my lid... because I thought that was all I was going to do but I couldn't stop myself lol

J'ai commencé par appliquer le fard couleur violet clair de la palette Ultimate Bright de chez NYX sur toute ma paupière.... C'est tout ce que j'allais faire mais j'ai perdu contrôle lol 

Then I took my MorphexJamesCharles palette and applied the shade 'single' and a tiny bit of the shade 'love that' on my lid but focusing it in the crease of my lid

Puis j'ai pris ma palette MorphexJamesCharles et j'ai appliqué la teinte 'single' et un tout petit peu de la teinte 'love that' sur ma paupière mais en le concentrant dans le creu de ma paupière

Then I applied the center shadow from my Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions palette onto my lid to add some glitter to it!

Puis j'ai pris le fard du milieu de ma palette Amethyst Obsessions de chez Huda beauty que j'ai appliqué sur ma paupière pour ajouter un peu de paillettes!

To finish it up I took this NYX cosmetics liquid lipstick in the shade 'run the world' and applied it as an eye-liner which I found really finished the look and tied it all together!

Pour finir j'ai pris ce rouge à lèvres NYX cosmetics dans la teinte 'diriger le monde' que j'ai appliqué en tant qu'eye-liner ce qui je trouve liait tout ensemble!

The last thing I did was apply some highlighter - here Becca in the shade 'moonstone'- and some mascara -here worth the hype by NYX-

La dernière chose que j'ai faite est d'appliquer de l'highlighter -ici Becca dans la teinte 'moonstone'- et du mascara -ici worth the hype' de chez NYX-

Bronze eye makeup look (Morphe/NYX/Benefit/Makeup Revolution/Becca) - maquillage des yeux dans les tons bronze (Morphe/NYX/Benefit/Makeup Revolution/Becca)

I was just thinking I hadn't done one of these posts in ages and I've been wearing the same makeup look for a few weeks because I've been obsessed with it so I thought I would show you! 

J'étais en train de penser que je n'avais pas fait ce genre d'articles depuis un moment et je porte exactement le même maquillage des yeux depuis quelques semaines car je l'aime beaucoup alors je me suis dis que je vous le montrerai! 

Here's the makeup look I've been wearing - a bronze look which I love! 

Voici le maquillage que je porte depuis quelques temps - un look dans les tons bronze que j'adore!

To create this look here are the products I used. As for every single makeup look I do, I used the Benefit stay don't stray eyeshadow base which works wonders and the NYX Cosmetics worth the hype mascara

Pour créer ce look voici les produits que j'ai utilisé. Comme pour chacun des maquillages que je fait, j'ai utilisé la base a paupière Benefit stay don't stray qui marche a merveille et le mascara worth the hype de chez NYX Cosmetics

To begin I used the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette, I used the yellow/mustard shade in the crease of my eyelid 

Pour commencer j'ai utilisé la palette Morphe x Jaclyn Hill, j'ai utilisé le fard jaune moutarde dans le creu de ma paupière 

Then I took the Revolution x Soph extra spice palette and applied the shade 'running late' and blended that into the previous shadow. I also added a tiny bit of the shade 'sweet n sour' in the same area

Puis j'ai pris la palette extra spice de chez Revolution x Soph et j'ai appliqué la teinte 'running late' et je l'ai estompé dans le fard précédent. J'ai également pris un peu de la teinte 'sweet n sour' que j'ai estompé au même endroit 

To finish it off I took the Revolution Pro revelation palette and applied the shade 'breaking point' on the center of my eyelid

Pour finir j'ai pris la palette revelation de chez Revolution pro et j'ai appliqué la teinte 'breaking point' sur ma paupière mobile

Last thing I did was apply some highlighter, my go-to highlighter is the Becca highlighter in the shade 'moonstone' which is my absolute favourite highlighter!! 

Dernière chose que j'ai faite est d'appliquer de l'highlighter, mon highlighter préféré de tous les temps est l'highlighter Becca dans la teinte 'moonstone'!!
