I bet you were all screaming as it flew about the house,at least it made a full recovery and didn't damage it's wings.(Pierre's torch would have sorted it out)
it had hurt it a bit, but recovered very fast and was able to fly about 10 minutes after it had gone into the window ! We were very exitec, we touched it whilst being really careful ! xx
what a cute little fella. we often have birds coming into the house from the back deck and they head for the big mirror in front of them where they stun themselves. thank goodness they recover quickly.
How wonderful to see a Goldcrest. They are so tiny that sometimes you just get to see the flash of yellow on top of their heads before they fly off. Well done on getting a selection of photos.

DeleteHe had just knocked himself out by going into the window so we put him inside and then he decided to fly everywhere in the house !
