Interesting things I bought lately - Choses intéressantes que j'ai acheté dernièrement

The first thing I bought is shoes ; the first pair is black with little details of colour (which I love) : 

La première chose que j'ai acheté sont des chaussures ; la première paire est noire avec des petits détails de couleur (que j'adore) :

The second pair I got is more of a blue-green colour and there are some areas that have some detail in a leaf patern :

Then I got this lovely T-shirt, it's a stripy shirt and at the top of it has a sort of black lace around the neck bit : 

Puis j'ai pris cet adorable T-shirt, c'est une marinière et en haut il y a une sorte de dentelle noire : 

Then I bought a Nail strenghthner to prevent my nail breaking (because that really annoys me !) : 

Puis j'ai acheté une base fortifiante pour les ongles pour les empêcher de se casser (parce que ça m'énerve vraiment !) :

Then I bought this hand cream (which again is the -not so- limited edition one) :

I bought this amazing bag, I haven't stopped using it for going out, and I even bought it with me on my outward bound in Oise (blog posts coming soon) ! It's actually my favourite bag ever :

J'ai acheté cet incroyable sac, je n'ai pas arrêté de l'utiliser pour sortir, et je l'ai même ramené avec moi à mon séminaire dans l'Oise (articles de blog arrivant prochainement) ! A vrai dire je pense que c'est mon sac préféré que j'ai jamais eu : 

This lipstick, Rimmel's Kate Moss 107, I love it, I have been wanting it for 2 years, and now I finally have it ! 

Ce rouge a lèvres, le Kate Moss 107 de chez Rimmel, je l'adore, je le voulait depuis 2 ans, et maintenant je l'ai enfin ! 

And last but not least, Zayn's album, Mind Of Mine ! 

Et dernièrement mais pas des moindres, l'album de Zayn, Mind Of Mine ! 

My art homework in french - Mon devoir d'art plastiques en français

we had this project to do in French, basically we had to make our own biography from pictures which represent important moments from our lives :

Vous pouvez surement lire l'énoncé ; mais en gros il fallait faire notre propre biographie a partir de photos qui représentent de grands moments dans nos vies : 

this is what my project looked like ! I'm really proud of it ! I got a 10/10 for it, and my teacher showed all the projects to the whole class (as they were asking) and mine was the most full up one & the most impressive ! (the teacher and the pupils said that I'm not just being narcissitic or whatever) She actually kept all the best projects and she's going to put them up during the exhibition in our school !

voilà a quoi ressemble mon projet ! J'en suis vraiment fière ! J'ai eu un 10/10 pour cela, et ma prof a montré tout les projet a la classe entière (puisqu'ils le demandaient) et le mien était le plus remplis & le plus impressionnant ! (la prof et les élèves ont dis ça je suis pas narcissique ou quoi) Au final elle a gardé tous les meilleurs projets et elle va les afficher quand il y aura une exposition dans mon collège !

we got snow ! - on a eu de la neige !

a couple of days ago (it was the day I saw my best friend again actually !), we woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground but not much ! 

Il y a quelques jours (c'était le même jour que je revoyait ma meilleure amie en plus !), on s'est réveillés avec un peu de neige au sol mais pas beaucoup ! 

My brother was yelling "Sophie, it's snowing" from the bottom of my stairs so I got straight out of bed to get a couple of pictures ! 

Mon frère criait "Sophie, il neige" du bas de mes escaliers donc je me suis directement levée pour prendre quelques photos ! 

I was actually laughing by myself at this car because it looks like it has a moustache !

Je rigolait toute seule quand j'ai vu cette voiture parce que on dirait qu'elle a une moustache ! 

Juliette and Pierre even made friends whilst playing in the cold ! 

Juliette et Pierre se sont même fait des amis pendants qu'ils jouaient dans le froid ! 

I managed to get this picture of the snow falling, but as you can see it was melting already ! 

J'ai réussi a prendre cette photo de la neige en train de tomber, mais comme vous pouvez le voir elle fondait déjà ! 

It had pretty much stopped snowing at this point and it was starting to melt again :

A ce stade la il avait quasiment arrêté de neiger et elle recommancait a fondre : 

but we were left with a white landscape for a morning ! 

Mais on a eu le droit a un paysage enneigé pendant toute la matinée !

Dunkirk's Carnaval 2016 - Carnaval de Dunkerque 2016

Every year, in the very North of France around where I live (Dunkirk), there is a Carnaval season, from January, until March, every weekend there are some "bals" (inside, all night) and some "bande" (outside, all afternoon) ; it's a tradition for people who live around Dunkirk, to do it every year ! 

Tous les ans, a l'extrême Nord de la France autour de la où j'habite (Dunkerque), il y a une saison Carnavalesque, de Janvier a Mars, chaque weekend il y a des "bals" (a l'intérieur, toute la nuit) et des "bandes" (a l'extérieur, tout l'après-midi) ; c'est une tradition pour les personnes habitant aux alentours de Dunkerque, de le faire tout les ans ! 

The "bande" was round the corner, so we approached to get some pictures ! 

La "bande" était au coin de la rue, donc on s'est approchés pour prendre des photos ! 

There are so many people that you can see the steam (from the sweat) coming off them ! 

Il y a tellement de gens que l'on peut voir la vapeur (qui vient de la sueur) qui s'enlève d'eux ! 

These onesies are absolutely amazing ! 

Ces grenouillières sont vraiment magnifiques ! 

I had made some confetti from old paper, and I managed to take these pictures of me throwing it ! : 

J'avais fait des confettis avec du vieux papier, et j'ai réussi a prendre une photo de moi pendant que je les jetaient ! : 

and we amazingly managed to meet up with our dad and his friends !

et avec beaucoup de chance on a réussi a croiser notre père et ses amis !

What I bought in the sales part 2 - Ce que j'ai acheté pendant les soldes partie 2

I bought this outfit for this summer when we go on holidays : 

J'ai acheté cette tenue pour cet été quand on pars en vacances :

It is a really short crop top (that has a lovely patern on it) with a mint color high waisted (well I'll be wearing it that way) skater skirt :

C'est un crop top très court (qui a un magnifique mothif dessus) avec une jupe de patineuse taille haute (du moins je la porterai comme ça) :

Next, I didn't buy this in the sales but in a small shop behind where I live ; I bought 4 bottles of Arizona (it was less than 1€ each, bargain !) 

Ensuite, je n'ai pas acheté ces produits dans les soldes mais dans un petit magasin derrière là ou j'habite ; j'ai acheté 4 bouteilles d'Arizona (elles étaient a moins d'1€ chacune, c'était une bonne affaire !) 

and they also sell some snapple so I got the 3 different flavors they had :

An amazing nail polish - un verni incroyable

These last few days I have been absolutely loving wearing red nail polish ! (this one is the "Double Decker Red 310" from Rimmel) 

Ces derniers jours j'ai adoré porter du verni rouge ! (celui ci est le "310 Double Decker red" de chez Rimmel) 

I always find getting a perfect manucure with red is impossible, I takes so long to dry compared to other colors, it's usually really thick and so hard to apply, but this one is a great one : it dries really quickly and it's really easy to apply, so I have to admit I've had red manucure for about a week now ! 

J'ai toujours trouvé qu'obtenir une manucure parfaite avec du rouge est impossible, ça prends hyper longtemps a sécher comparé a d'autre couleurs et la matière est hyper épaisse et donc c'est vraiment dur a appliquer, mais celui ci est incroyable : il sèche très rapidement et il est très facile a appliquer, donc je dois avouer que j'ai une manucure rouge depuis environ une semaine ! 

Sunrise and sunset - lever et coucher de soleil

This year I always start a 10am insted of 8am, so I always have the possibility to take pictures of the sunrise ! (well, with that said next week I won't because I start at 8:30am, we have our first mock exam !) 

Cette année je commence toujours a 10h au lieu de 8h, donc j'ai toujours la possibilitée de prendre des photos du lever de soleil ! (ceci dis, la semaine je ne pourrai pas car je commence a 8h30, on a notre premier brevet blanc !) 

I post photos of sunsets every summer (2014 summer, 2015 summer) and a couple of weeks ago I posted some photos of the sunset/sunrise in Dunkirk, and we've had some beautiful ones since ! 

Je poste des photos de couchers de soleil chaque été (été 2014, été 2015) et il y a quelques semaines j'ai posté des photos du lever/coucher de soleil a Dunkerque, et on en a eu des magnifique depuis ! 

and the next day it was absolutely beautiful ! 

et le lendemain il était vraiment magnifique !

I have to admit, I just sat at the window, with my camera, for the whole sunrise... 

Je dois avouer que, je me suis assise a la fenêtre, avec mon appareil photo, pendant le tout le lever...

and for about an hour there was this tiny rainbow thing in the sky but I'm not too sure about what it was actually ! 

pendant pratiquement une heure il y avait ce petit arc en ciel mais on ne sais pas vraiment ce que c'était en réalitée !
