This summer we headed off to Bulgaria for a fortnite, the night we arrived we were welcomed by a lion king show which was a lovely was to start the holiday! However we didn't stay for that long because we were all really tired and just wanted to go to bed!
Cet été nous sommes allés en Bulgarie pendant 2 semaines, la nuit où on est arrivés on a été bienvenu par un spectacle sur le roi lion qui était une bonne façon de commencer le séjour! Cependant on est pas restés jusque la fin parce qu'on était tous très fatigués et on attendait qu'une chose : aller dormir!
The view from our room was amazing, it was a view onto the Black Sea and every night the sunsets were beautiful!
La vue depuis notre chambre d'hôtel était magnifique, c'était une vue sur la Mer Noire et tous les soirs les couchers de soleils étaient sublime!
Our first day out was an exploring day in the old town of Nessebar, this town is entirely protected by the UNESCO partly because there are 15 ancient churches in it, some of them are really beautiful and really well preserved. Here are a few pictures I took on that day :
Notre première sortie était une journée d'exploration de l'ancienne ville de Nessebar, cette ville est entièrement protégée par l'UNESCO en partie car on peut y trouver 15 anciennes églises, certaines d'entre elles sont vraiment magnifique et très bien préservées. Voici quelques photos que j'ai pris ce jour là :
On another day we went on a boat excursion. We were sat at the end of the small boat which let us be able to lay down and just appreciate the view, however my sister, brother and I ended up feelig really sea sick by the end of the day. At lunch time, we could fish if we wanted, I tried but ending up getting my line stuck under a rock but my brother managed to catch one! He even won a bottle of Champagne!
Un autre jour on a fait une sortie en mer. On était assis au bout du petit bateau ce qui nous a permis de nous allonger et profiter de la vue, cependant a la fin de la journée ma soeur, mon frère et moi nous sentions pas très bien a cause de la mer. A midi, on nous a proposé de pêcher si on voulait, j'ai essayé mais je me suis retrouver à coincer ma ligne sous un richer mais mon frère à réussi a en attraper un! Il a même gagné une bouteille de Champagne!
On the same day it was Bulgarian night, we got to see some of the traditional dances and dresses (which I find are really nice)
Le même jour c'était soirée Bulagare, on a pu voir certaines danses et robes traditionnelles (qui je trouve sont très belles)
We decided to head back to Nessebar because even if it's a little town, you won't be bored if you decide to go there more than once as there is a lot to see! Here are some of the pictures I took :
On a décidé de retourner a Nessebar parce que même si c'est une petite ville, vous ne vous ennuierez pas si vous décidez d'y aller plus d'une fois car il y a beaucoup a voir! Voici certaines photos que j'ai prises :
My favourite food in Bulgaria may be this salad, it's very simple as it only has cucumber - red pepper - and a few other things but I tried making it at home and it didn't taste the same.....
Mon plat préféré en Bulgarie est probablement cette salade, elle est très simple car elle ne contient que du concombre - poivron rouge - et quelques autres ingrédients mais j'ai essayé de la refaire a la maison et elle n'avait pas le même goût......
On another day we went on a little exploration on the Roppotamo river which is a natural reserve, it was really interesting and fun! We got to see a few animals and it was really peaceful which was really nice
Un autre jour on a été en exploration sur la rivière du Roppotamo qui est une réserve naturelle, c'était très intéressant! On a pu voir quelques animaux et c'était très calme ce qui était très agréable
On the way back to the hotel from an excursion we stopped and had a little walk in the city of Burgas - I didn't find it that good but their train station looked really nice
Sur le chemin du retour d'une excursion vers l'hôtel on s'est arrêtés et on a marché un peu dans la ville de Burgas - je ne l'ai pas trouvée si bien que cela mais leur gare ferovière était très belle
Our last day out was a visit to the camel park in Sunny Beach. From my hotel you could get a free bus to it (it wa only a 5-10mn drive) which made it even easier. It was really fun we got to get up really close with all the camels - we even got to feed them and have a ride on their back! My brother stood a little too close to one of them while holding their food so he ending up getting a bit of his t-shirt eaten (which was hilarious)!
Notre dernière visite à été au park a chameaux a Sunny Beach. De notre hôtel on pouvais prendre une navette gratuite pour s'y rendre (il n'y avait que 5-10mn de route) ce qui l'a rendu encore plus simple. C'était très marrant on a pu s'approcher de tous les chameaux - on a même pu les nourrir et faire un tour sur leur dos! Mon frère s'est un peu trop approché d'eux en tenant leur nourriture donc un chameau a mordu un morceau de son t-shirt (c'était très drôle)!
The last show we got to see was a light show and I'm quite proud of the pictures I managed to get!
Le dernier spectacle que l'on a pu voir était un spectacle de lumières et je suis assez fière des photos que j'ai réussi a prendre!
On that same day it was my birthday, I turned 17!
Ce même jour c'était mon anniversaire, j'ai eu 17 ans!
Our last day at the hotel consisted of doing all the things we had been wanting to do before but never got round to going and that went from playing mini-golf and billliard.......
Notre dernier jour a l'hôtel a consisté à faire toutes les choses que l'on avait voulu faire mais que l'on a jamais pris le temps de faire, et c'est passé de jouer au mini-golf et au billard.....
